The Tony-nominated revival of Cabaret welcomes country star Orville Peck and two-time Tony nominee Eva Noblezada to its cast at the August Wilson Theater. Beginning March 31, Peck will step into the role of the Emcee, and Noblezada will portray Sally Bowles for a 16-week engagement through July 20, succeeding Adam Lambert and Auli‘i Cravalho.
Peck, known for albums like Pony and Bronco, trained as an actor at LAMDA, making this his Broadway debut. Noblezada, fresh off The Great Gatsby and Hadestown, brings a wealth of theatrical experience to her role.
This revival, directed by Rebecca Frecknall, reimagines the classic story of Cabaret, offering a bold, modern take on John Kander, Fred Ebb, and Joe Masteroff's iconic work. With this new casting, the classic musical is one with modern sensibilities, blending provocative themes, riveting performances, and unforgettable music.
Cabaret at the August Wilson Theater invites audiences to experience this timeless masterpiece with a fresh, bold perspective.
