The show's undoubted appeal lies in Richard Hudson's scenic design and the masks and puppetry of Julie Taymor and Michael Curry. Taymor, as director, is the organising visual spirit behind the show and she produces a child's garden of delights.

The lion king show is superb. The way whole play is executed , the artist, the directors, the musicians are all amazing. The way they coordinated, their timing were amazing. It looked like magic to the eye all happening at once in sync in front of us. So I would recommend everyone to watch this show. Theatre is soo much effort and it's one shot only so please watch and appreciate the effort. Also I would say buy tickets in advance and from Headout app. You may find some good deals and the experience is very smooth when you buy tickets through the app.
I loved the childhood memories it brought back. Very nostalgic! The cast and crew was amazing! Very creative and beautiful vocals. Would recommend 100% it's a must watch!!!
The show was amazing , and it was a bday present for my daughter , she loved it . Seats were good . And we had a lovely day Thank you
An absolute must for every theater lover. The elaborately designed stage set, the creative and detailed costumes and the outstanding performances of the actors are particularly impressive. These elements make the visit an unforgettable experience. However, the organization during the performance was a bit of a downer. In the event of a technical defect, the play was abruptly interrupted, the lights in the auditorium were switched on and the problem was only pointed out via loudspeakers. The lack of information led to panic-like reactions from some guests. Clearer communication would have been desirable here, as not every visitor is as relaxed about such a situation as the Londoners themselves. Despite this incident, "The Lion King" remains an unreserved recommendation for a visit to London.
